Just like Hindus, the Buddha people believed in reincarnation, but in a different way. He taught that people could end the cycle of rebirth by following the Eightfold Path.Lots of people followed the Buddha's path, especially the Untouchables and the lower class Indian's For the first time, these groups heard that they also could reach enlightenment.Buddhism was developed because siddhartha gave up his wealth and family because he wanted to be happy and stop wanting evrything so he went and sat under a tree for 2 months and medatated.
